Louise Wilson Clark, age 87, of Carlisle, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday July 16, 2026. She was born on July 7, 1939, in Carlisle, Kentucky, Louise lived a life rooted in love, faith, and devotion to her family. She was known for her gentle spirit, kind heart, and unwavering love for those around her. Above all else, Louise was incredibly proud of her family and loved them with all her heart. Louise was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ralph Clark; her parents, Robert Lee Wilson and Jennie Ware Wilson; her brother, Robert Eugene Wilson; and her granddaughter, Samantha Jane Bowles. She is lovingly survived by her children, Ronnie ( Keneatha) Clark, Debbie ( Sammy) Vice, and Christy ( Billy) Gilvin, all of Carlisle, Kentucky; her cherished grandchildren, Shasta ( Josh) Fryman, Hannah ( Josh) Earlywine, Emma ( Luke) Newell, Katie ( Arnold) Brewer, Anthony ( Chelsea) Gilvin, Justin ( Maddie) Bowles, Jared ( Emmy) Clark and Holton ( Ashley) Vice; nineteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; her special cousin, Audrey Goosey; along with many extended family members and dear friends. Louise found happiness in the simple pleasures of life. She was an exceptional cook whose meals brought family together, enjoyed sewing, and treasured every opportunity to watch her grandchildren grow and spend time with them. Her greatest joy was always her family, and the memories they shared will be cherished forever. Throughout her working years, Louise served as a hospital ward clerk and later as a deli manager, where she was known for her dedication, strong work ethic, and friendly nature. Louise will be remembered for her warmth, compassion, quiet strength, and unconditional love. She touched countless lives through her kindness and generosity, leaving behind a legacy that will live on through the family she adored. Though she will be deeply missed, Louise’s love, wisdom, and gentle spirit will remain forever in the hearts of those who new and loved her. Her family was her greatest blessing, and the love she gave them will continue to be felt for generations to come. May she rest in eternal peace. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions be made to Bluegrass Care Navigators of Cynthiana, Kentucky, in appreciation for the compassionate care they provided to Louise and her family. Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Saturday July 18, 2026, at Carlisle-Clark Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Smith officiating with burial following in the Carlisle Cemetery. Visitation Saturday 11 am – 1pm. Pallbearers will be Jared Clark, Justin Bowles, Luke Newell, Anthony Gilvin, Josh Fryman and Josh Earlywine. Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Gilvin, Zach Newell, Matt Newell, Arnold Brewer, and Leslie Clark. Carlisle-Clark Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
