Sonja Carolyn Williamson Coker

Sonja Carolyn Williamson Coker, widow of Charles Henry Coker went home to be with her Lord and Savior on June 20, 2024, at the beautiful age of 86. She was born in Georgetown, Ky March 24, 1938, to the late Joe Frank and Vada Carvel Williamson. Sonja was the co-owner and secretary for Coker Pet Food for many years alongside her beloved husband, Charles Coker. Sonja was an avid antiquer, a faithful church goer, loved to attend Clay Aiken concerts all around the world, she loved to cook for her family. She enjoyed watching Cincinnati Reds and U K basketball, she loved her Hubba Bubba bubble gum and eating her fresh fruits. We would like to acknowledge some very special people whom Sonja loved dearly her niece Roberta who was more like a sister, all her special nieces and nephews, Chuck Wise who was always there to lend a helping hand, helping us to get her to her appointments and helping with home improvements. Please join in remembrance of a beautiful life, and just know if you have met Sonja, she loved you and you loved her. Sonja would never let a loved one say goodbye, it was always Love, Love, Love! She is survived by her three children Laura Coker, Charlotte Murphy and Chuck(Chrissy) Coker, her grandchildren Karvel (Chris) Bussell, Hope ( Shawn) Sexton, Amanda Beatty, Michelle McCoy, Chas(Robyn) Coker, Christian ( Mike) Martin and Cheyenne Coker, her great grandchildren Meghan Brown, Caleb( Maddie) Pope, Cassidy (Tyler) Amendola, Charby(Delaney) Pope, Landon(Katie) Sexton, Elijah ( Grace) Barnett, Hannah ( Jacob) Thornton, Gabriel Shumway, D J Ratliff, Connery Cromwell, Zach McCoy, Tera McCoy, Aiden Earlywine, Camden Cromwell, Charizma Coker, Camilla Coker, Caspian Martin, Jordan ( Jessica) Bussell, Allison ( Chancellor) Miller, Shelby Bussell and Andrew Ratliff, her great-great-great grandchildren Brayden Brown, Paisleigh Shepherd, Honor Amendola, Maelee Faith Amendola, Oaklynn Noel Brown, Waylon Sexton, Winston Sexton, Wrenley Sexton, Baker Thornton, Jamie Pope, Brooklynn Bussell, Sarah Bussell, Ridley Miller and Kendall Miller, her siblings Wanda Stone, Daphne Hollan, Joe Anna Boykin and Patsy Underwood. She was preceded in death by two grandchildren Jennifer English and Gary English Jr.,one great grandchild, Kailee Evans, two brothers Ellis Lee Williamson and William Everett Williamson, four sisters Lottie Haas, Mary Ellen Hogue, Wanda Stone and Vivian Frances Williamson. Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Monday June 24, 2024, at Carlisle-Clark Funeral Home with Bro. Terry Moore officiating with burial following in the Georgetown Cemetery. Visitation Monday 11 am – 1 pm. In lieu of traditional Mourning, we request the joy of your company in bright colors, especially yellow, her favorite color, which reflects her vibrant spirit and outgoing personality. Pallbearers are Chas Coker, Cheyenne Coker, Caleb Pope, Charby Pope, Landon Sexton, Elijah Barnett, D J Ratliff, Andy Ratliff Brayden Brown and Connery Cromwell. Honorary bearers are Chuck Wise, Shawn Sexton, Chris Bussell, Mike Martin, Zach McCoy, Gabriel Shumway, Camden Cromwell, Aiden Earlywine, Jacob Thornton and Tyler Amendola. Carlisle-Clark Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
