Allie Coleman Vice Jr.

November 1, 1947 - April 6, 2022

Allie Coleman Vice Jr. age 74 passed away April 6, 2022. He was born at home in Bourbon County to the late Allie Coleman and Virginia Lawrence Vice Sr. He was a member of the East Union Christian Church. He was a master electrician and contractor from 1974 – 2005. He was a former employee of Bluegrass Industries in the knitting department and Jockey International for forty years starting in 1966-2004. He also completed electrical wiring with his business Vice Electric. In 1974 he was a Carlisle Police Officer. He is survived by his wife of fifty-five years Carolyn Jean Robinson Vice, a daughter Dana (Fred) Stipp, a son Damon Vice, two grandchildren Tyler Madison Stipp and Darbey Shea Stipp, a sister Bernice (George) Bayles, three brothers Stephen (Helen) Vice, William Danny (Janet) Vice and Mark (Barbara) Vice. He was preceded in death by a son Allie Vice III, two infants and his parents Allie Coleman and Virginia Lawrence Vice Sr. Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Tuesday April 12, 2022, at Carlisle-Clark Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Vice and Carma Brown officiating with burial following in Longview Cemetery. Visitation Monday 5 – 8 pm. Pallbearers are Danny Vice, Jason Vice, Chris Vice, Nathanial Vice, Chad Becraft, Shawn Becraft and Jeff Smoot. Honorary bearers are Stephen Vice, Donnie Sharp, Frank Johnson, Billy Robinson, Wayne Livingood, Bud Becraft. Carlisle-Clark Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
